DIETS DON’T WORK!

How many diets have you tried in your lifetime?  I bet you can name almost every diet on the market and none of them worked for you.  Have you ever wondered why?  Have you ever asked yourself what you are really looking for? Are you here looking at this website because YOU want to develop a healthy mind and body, or is it pressure from society?  Do you compare yourself to others?  What do you say to yourself each time a diet fails for you?

In todays society we have learned to ask for and demand everything NOW.  We want everything immediately.  We even expect to lose weight instantly.  That just does not happen. We self sabotage by telling ourselves we will start our diet “tomorrow”.  Sadly, when tomorrow gets here we come up with yet another excuse.  

Do you compare yourself with other women?  Do you look at your body size and shape and automatically think there is something wrong with you because you do not look like “her”?  

It is now time to stop.  Stop the negative thoughts, stop the self sabotaging, stop the comparisons, stop overeating just for comfort because you messed up your diet, anyway.  

It is time to move forward and enjoy the life/body/mind/spirit you were given.  And yes, you can do this.  Action is the prescription for success.  Girl, the action is about to start.

I can’t lose weight until….

These type of statements set defeat in motion.  Let’s change our narrative.  GOD made your body in His image.  Let us honor Him by respecting the body He gave us.  Join me as I guide you through an eight week program of healing and hope.  

Instead of focusing on “dieting and losing weight”, allow yourself to focus on getting healthy, staying healthy, enjoying your life/body/mind/spirit/GOD.

About Me  

My name is Sherri Bradfield.  I am a Certified Life Coach.  I have extensive training in the medical field, and as a Certified Surgical Technologist.  Currently working with Special Education students, with my developed and implemented social, emotional, learning plans, and Safe Crisis Management Trained.  

Married 47 years to PawPawHoHo (aka, Bill, the best Twinkie salesman in Indiana), a mother of two, and grandmother of a large passel of grandchildren, not to forget our four exotic birds, four dogs, ducks and geese.
